UNDERSTAND HAIR TRANSPLANT
A hair transplant is a procedure in which the hair is taken from the donor area (hair in the back of the scalp) to bald area of the head.
Hair transplants treatment will undergo under local anesthesia. Pattern baldness is responsible for the majority of hair loss. This comes down to genetics. The remaining cases are due to a variety of factors, including:
Diet
Stress
Illness
Hormonal Inbalance
Medications
It’s a type of procedure that restores the hair in the bald area. First, the Doctor cleans your scalp and injects medicine to numb the back of your head. Doctor will choose follicular unit extraction (FUE) method. This method was proved to be the best method to do Hair Transplant and leaves no stiches and scar.
The number and type of graft you get depends on your hair type, quality, color, and the size of the area where you’re getting the transplant. For FUE procedure, the Doctor and nurses will shave the back of your scalp.
At this point, there are two different method either:
Fully Shaven Method
Partly Shaven Method
Then, the doctor will remove hair follicles one by one from there. The area heals with small dots, which your existing hair will cover.
After preparing the grafts, the nurses cleans and numbs the area where the hair will go, creates holes or slits with a scalpel or needle, and delicately places each graft in one of the holes. Depending on the size of the transplant you’re getting, the process will take about 6 to 8 hours. You might need to do another procedure later on if you have progressive hair loss.
